This Is Not a Baking Demo
This is a guided, hands-on evening at one of Burleson's most beautiful venues — where you'll learn the craft of true sourdough fermentation not as a trend, but as a lifelong skill.
You'll shape your own artisan loaf during class, take it home, refrigerate overnight, and bake it fresh the next morning in your own kitchen. You leave with clarity, confidence, and a process that finally makes sense.
One week after tax season ends. Come breathe.
What's Waiting at Your Seat
Every guest receives:
- A living heirloom sourdough starter — part of a heritage culture carefully preserved for a few hundred years, in a glass jar ready to go home with you
- Pre-measured recipe ingredients
- A fully shaped artisan loaf ready to bake the next day
- Practice dough for guided scoring training
- A set of scoring razor blades, securely packaged
- A printed handout folder on quality cardstock — country loaf recipe, complete baking and care guides, sourdough discard recipes, troubleshooting sheet, and scoring guide
- Kitchen towel and silicone spatula
- A curated grazing board served while your dough rests
- 100 days of personal email support — directly from me
What You'll Learn
In 90 focused minutes you'll understand:
- The science behind wild fermentation
- How to mix and strengthen dough properly
- Folding and shaping techniques for structure
- Scoring — practiced first on training dough before touching your real loaf
- How to bake confidently at home
- How to maintain your starter long-term without stress
- How to troubleshoot common problems
No guesswork. No overwhelm. No conflicting internet advice.
You do not need experience. You simply need to learn it once — correctly.
